The Access to Rehab Team

Together we have extensive experience working within an internationally recognised NHS neurological rehabilitation centre and community setting. Access to Rehab aims to disseminate these skills to reach clients individual needs, using a flexible approach, within their homes and local communities.
Our story: Jane and Hannah have worked together for 17 years; in an NHS specialist neuro rehab unit and then ventured into the private sector together. They met Claire when they all worked together in the rehab unit and began discussions about a shared vision they all had to make specialist neurological rehabilitation more accessible to all and to share built upon expertise with partners and agencies working in the private sector, to directly benefit their clients and their families. We have carried out research projects, clinical audit, clinical supervision, training for others and delivered under graduate and post graduate courses in addition to presenting at local and national forums. We believe that is important to underpin our practice in evidence and hold a commitment to contribute to and have a process of review to update the evidence already held. This evidence influences the approaches we use and all our intervention is based upon a functional, goal orientated approach using outcome measures that are meaningful to the individual. Together we see it as a privilege to join someone on their personal journey after a neurological event, in the knowledge that therapy can be beneficial months and even years afterwards.
